I had just taken my truck to the shop on Friday, which was the 25th. They did the annual federal inspection, replaced all ten tires on my tractor, and adjusted the brakes. At the end of the inspection, I was informed about the issue with the brakes. According to Vehicle Code Section 26 453 of the California Vehicle Code, the right and left brakes of the third axle are deemed inoperative or defective. I am now going to crawl underneath to investigate since I conducted my vehicle inspection earlier today and everything was working fine. It's strange that all of a sudden my brakes aren't working. Hey, it's March 29th around 12:40 in the morning. I am at the CHP inspection station in Arvin, California, just before going over the Grapevine. They informed me that my brakes on the third axle are not working, so I'm going to check them myself. I will inspect the foot brake, the parking brake, and ensure the brakes are released.
